Burrata with figs, honey and salted walnuts - a fabulous appetizer of sweet fresh figs, served atop luscious, creamy burrata, drizzled with honey, and topped with salted, toasted walnuts for contrast.
Lightly sprinkle the walnuts with water, and salt liberally. Place in a toaster oven, on medium high, for about 5 minutes, or until nicely toasted.
Arrange the fresh figs, cut in quarters, around the burrata cheese, drizzle all with honey, and top with the salted toasted walnuts. Optionally sprinkle some flaky sea salt on top.
Serve with crackers of choice.
